Winter Training 2025
GK Description: This winter Fusion has teamed up with local GK specialist and Winnacunnet Varsity coach, Nick Rowe. Nick will bring his extensive goalie coaching experience to the field with Fusion and prepare players for what it takes to play this position in HS.
This session is not for beginners. Experience players dedicated to improving their abilities will be challenged with a different skill set each week. From distance shot stopping and diving to breakaways and defending corners and crosses.
The best part? GK's will combine with field players for the final 20-30 of each session for live repetitions.
Minimum of 8 GK's needed
Field Players: Matt Glode, Fusion co-owner will bring his 20 years of coaching and focus on player development to pinpoint in on the most fun and exciting part of the game - finishing. You read that write, finishing. At Fusion sessions, we don't practice shooting - we expect players to score.
This session is not for beginners. Experience players dedicated to improving their abilities will be challenged with a different skill set each week. While we'll develop players' ability to strike the ball from distance, finish from crosses & breakaways and through traffic, the most important element we'll introduce is one coaches rarely get to focus on in team trainings...You'll have to register to find out what that is.
The best part? GK's will combine with field players for the final 20-30 of each session for live repetitions.
Minimum of 10 field players needed
